H2M architects + engineers Wastewater/ Water Project Manager in Melville, New York

H2M architects engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, environmental consulting firm seeks an experienced Project Manager to work out of our Melville Office to manage and track the progress of multiple projects. Projects will be focused on the design, planning and construction of wastewater facilities. In this position, you will be the main point of contact for planning and design of wastewater projects and be responsible for tracking schedule, budget, and scope.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and serve as the Project Manager on wastewater projects
  • Be responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring for projects being managed
  • Coordinate Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assisting on projects managed by others
  • Assist Market Leaders with client development, opportunity research and proposal development
  • Participate in professional societies relevant to the market.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients' organizations
  • Some travel to other offices may be required

Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 years of related experience
  • PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification a plus
  • Professional engineering (PE) license, strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering, or related degree.
  • Experience working on and managing wastewater projects.
  • Experience managing multi-discipline project teams.
  • Excellent communication, networking and team building skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients

The salary range for this role is $80, 000 - $120, 000 annually.
