Description

The Senior Manager, Maintenance and Reliability, is a member of the Plant Management Team that drives Maintenance and Reliability improvements in a Manufacturing Operations environment and has full accountability for maintenance activities. This position monitors and controls the maintenance and reliability of the manufacturing machinery and leads a team of exempt and non-exempt employees through the daily activities across three shifts within the operations department.

Key activities for this position include leading maintenance and reliability processes focusing on reaching operational excellence, developing and implementing strategies to increase the skill level across our maintenance team, and enhancing our maintenance capabilities to deliver improved equipment reliability, decreasing our repair and maintenance costs.

This position is also responsible for driving Supply Chain strategies and continuous improvement objectives, working in collaboration with the Project Engineer Team, M&R, and key technical personnel in the development of progressive training and assessment programs, and having a direct impact on sustainable safety (BBS), quality, profitability, efficiency, OEE, cost management, customer satisfaction, innovation, and LEAN methodologies.

The Senior Manager will oversee all Machining Center functions, including machine upgrades and change part fabrication, supporting new launch activities.

Qualifications

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Must demonstrate a desire and ability to lead other people

  • Must be familiar with TPM Techniques in day-to-day operations to reduce downtime.

  • Must use continuous Improvement methodologies to align reliability efforts with and support existing programs to meet or exceed our Quality, Delivery, and Cost performance expectations.

  • Understanding of PLCs and PLC programming

  • Knowledge of maintenance software systems (MP2, Tool Crib Database, I-Buttons)

  • Must be able to apply root cause analysis for problem-solving

  • Well-versed in equipment automation, PLC Logic Control, Robotics, Servo Drive Systems, CMMS, MRO Storeroom Management, and Automated Packaging Designs.
