Global R&D Operations Data Analytics Manager

The primary role of this position is to build robust data analytics capabilities to increase the effectiveness of R&D operations. In particular, this position requires a strong analytical mindset, and technical skills to create robust analytics, reports and dashboards.

The individual is required to closely collaborate with IT to ensure an integrated technical landscape adhering to data integrity principles.

The scope includes

  • Building data analytical solutions that unlock business insight and enable impactful decisions driving immediate and sustainable value.

  • Creating techno-functional documentation and coordinating solution development with technical resources

  • Testing systems and coordinating user acceptance testing & sign off on solutions

  • Supporting the analytics Lead in standardization of Data Analytics - tools, reports and processes - across R&D.

  • Co-ordinating with the R&D Sites to ensure robust implementation of data analytics.

The geographic scope is Global and includes all R&D Sites - Melville (USA), Blaine (USA), Shanghai (China), Toronto (Canada), Paris (France), Seoul (South Korea) and Tokyo (Japan).

Qualifications

  • Experience in analyzing business processes for data analytics and data structures.

  • Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience in creating presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

  • Experience in business data visualization - graphs, infographics using Microsoft Excel and tools like Power BI, QlikView/QlikSense, Tableau

  • Experience in Oracle PL/SQL scripting and coding a must

  • Knowledge of Java, R/Python statistical tools a plus

  • Knowledge of data mining, cleaning and transforming techniques

  • Knowledge of identifying patterns and trends in data sets using real world scenarios

  • Knowledge of FDA Validation and CFR 21 Part 11

Knowledge of GXP (Good Clinical/Manufacturing/Documentation practices)

College Graduate - BS
