Catholic Health Services Assistant Director, Digital Engagement Strategy in Melville, New York

Job Details Position Summary: The assistant director leads the build and optimization of digital engagement products, with a specific focus on Catholic Health patients. The assistant director is responsible for builds within vendor content management systems, business analysis, product roadmaps, and digital performance analysis. This individual partners with agencies, vendors, and internal product teams to deliver digital solutions that help support patient engagement and meet business goals. Duties and Responsibilities: Builds and tests new patient engagement features and content across a variety of content management systems, with an eye toward consistency and quality assurance. Continuously monitors the performance of digital engagement products, identifying optimization opportunities. Translates patient needs into new/enhanced product features for product teams; maintains roadmaps for digital engagement products. Aligns digital engagement release plans across product groups. Engages with agile development teams to confirm delivery of high-quality product requirements that clearly map to the patient’s needs. With Senior Director, partners with other groups in IT and groups across Catholic Health to define and execute on lifecycle of Catholic Health’s digital strategy and roadmap. Develops a deep understanding of Catholic Health’s patients and clinical processes in order to develop requirements for digital engagement solutions. Performs user requirements gathering activities including business analysis, task analysis, and user interviews. Oversees product work of vendors, digital agencies, and contractors to ensure that they deliver an optimized digital experience on time and on budget. Works with data team to advance digital analytics practice by clearly defining objectives and KPIs, providing performance analysis, and developing recommendations for product optimization; continuously evaluates the effectiveness of the conversion funnel(s) to drive improvements. Executes on Catholic Health’s digital health strategy and works to improve the digital maturity of the health system. Works in close partnership with teams across the health system to launch and scale digital health innovations. Keeps abreast of current digital best practices and engagement tools to support digital innovation at Catholic Health. Contributes to and consistently applies Catholic Health policies, procedures, and benefits to all customers and/or employees without discrimination. Position Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred 7+ years of experience in healthcare product management and digital content production for consumer/patient and clinical/provider-facing products Experience leading multi-functional teams and high-priority projects in a highly complex and matrixed environment High proficiency and proven successful delivery of experiences using Agile development, especially scaled agile and lean techniques and methodologies Expert understanding of digital product management and digital production. Strong understanding of electronic health records (EHRs), patient portals, patient communication tools, and ambulatory care practice administration tools. Experience with Epic and MyChart a plus. Knowledge of user experience, user-centered design, and UI/UX frameworks and processes. Knowledge of quality assurance and user acceptance testing best practices. Knowledge of healthcare interoperability data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, CQL, EDI X12, etc.). Ability to drive product analytics to understand feature usage and optimization. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Salary Range USD $150,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
