Military and Defence Distributor looking to fill their Material Control position ASAP! The perfect candidate for this role would be someone who is detailed oriented with problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective corrective actions. Also someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing tasks supporting the shipping, receiving and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

• Receiving incoming material, unpack and check items received against purchase orders or invoices.

• Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.

• Maintain records of received goods, packing sheets and other documents.

• Operate materials handling equipment such as pallet jacks.

The essential functions of this role include:

• standing for 7 hours at one time
