About the Job
In this role, the Cardiac Cath Tech will perform a wide variety of specialized technical work in all aspects of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Work involves operating a complex range of physiological hemodynamic monitoring and recording equipment. The tech will also operate radiographic equipment including PACS. The tech will be involved with the diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. The Cardiac Tech provides technical support to the patients, physicians and nursing staff. The Cardiac Tech is also involved in the teaching and instructing of other technicians, including professional and non-professional personnel, in all aspects of procedure room techniques. The Cardiac Tech also assists with tasks, which support the unit in order to maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment.

Required:
Associate's Degree
1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Specific Degree(s): RT(R)
*Scheduled for on-call duties and must respond within 30 minutes of notification*
Licensure/Certifications:
Required:
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from American Heart Association only (AHA)
Registered Technologist (ARRT) (R)
