Oracle Senior Software Development Manager in MELBOURNE, Australia

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on, Senior Development Manager to lead our development team in Melbourne. You will be working as part of a high performing cross-functional team on a large Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) system. You will be growing the most widely used online collaboration platform in the world for Construction, Infrastructure, and Energy and Resources projects.

You will be leading a passionate team, taking accountability for all aspects of software design and delivery. You will be applying a range of agile project planning and delivery methodologies to continually improve productivity and reduce waste. You will be accountable for the software architecture and drive a strong quality mindset. You will be collaborating with business stakeholders and clients to address issues and discover new requirements.

In your role you will be working with Product Manager, UX and other development managers to align and prioritise work. You will mentor and develop your team members while ensuring a vibrant and collaborative working environment.

  • Demonstrable track record of healthy collaboration with product managers, UXs, engineers, and other development managers on developing roadmaps and executing against them

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with remote team across geographies and time zone

  • Ability to inspire, motivate and care for employees while looking out for company viability

  • Strong organizational, people management, project management and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong communication
