The Food and Beverage Attendant provides exceptional service across a variety of food and beverage operations, including breakfast service, in-room dining, lounge service, bar service, and restaurant service. This versatile role requires a high level of flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively to ensure a top-notch experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Take and process food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

  • Ensure prompt and accurate service, maintaining high standards of presentation.

Breakfast Service:

  • Set up and prepare the breakfast area, including food displays and beverage stations.

  • Deliver the iconic Ritz-Carlton breakfast service

  • Assist guests with breakfast orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to dietary preferences.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the breakfast area.

In-Room Dining:

  • Take in-room dining orders via phone or electronic systems and deliver food and beverages to guest rooms.

  • Set up in-room dining trays and ensure timely service.

  • Deliver personalized dining room set up in rooms and engage interactively with guest in-hourse.

  • Follow privacy protocols and handle room keys with care.

  • Clean and organize trays and service items after delivery.

Lounge Service:

  • Provide service in the lounge area, including preparing and serving beverages and light snacks as well as the iconic Ritz-Carlton High Tea offerings.

  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring the lounge area is clean and well-stocked.

  • Assist with setting up and breaking down events or meetings in the lounge area.

Bar Service:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.

  • Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Dining Room Service:

  • Set up and clean tables, manage table settings, and ensure a tidy dining environment.

  • Assist with guest seating, managing reservations, and handling billing and payment transactions.

Event and Catering Support:

  • Assist with setup and service during events or catered functions.

  • Ensure all event-related tasks are completed efficiently and to guest satisfaction.

Stock & Quality Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels for various food and beverage areas and assist with ordering and restocking supplies.

  • Manage and rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness.

  • Polish cutlery and required departmental items to ensure highest level of quality cleanliness

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, housekeeping and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations.

  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.

  • An up-to-date RSA

  • Relevant experience in a similar role
