General Production Worker

Medina, NY

2nd and 3rd shift

(.75 cent increase after 6 month and 1 year periods, followed by $1.50/hr increase minimum after 2 years)

About the Role:

Are you looking to be part of a hardworking, dynamic team? We’re seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. In this vital role, you’ll contribute to our operations by ensuring production standards are met with the highest quality. Your responsibilities will include removing weld spatter, inspecting paint coverage, stacking shoes onto pallets, and accurately filling out part labels. We value safety, cleanliness, and reliability, and we’re looking for someone who shares these priorities!

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove weld spatter and inspect paint coverage to maintain top-notch quality.

• Stack shoes onto pallets and fill out part labels accurately.

• Follow Environmental, Health & Safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.

• Keep your work area clean, organized, and efficient.

• Operate various machines and handle the unloading/loading of parts.

• Use heat codes for steel bundles.

• Stand for 8-12 hours and lift up to 25lbs with minimal walking.

• Perform repetitive tasks involving bending, twisting, and lifting.

• Work in tight spaces, requiring excellent hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills.

• Assist with general production, assembly, and inspection duties.

What We're Looking For:

• Basic reading and writing skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• A self-starter who can follow simple instructions and work independently.

• A team player who thrives in a cooperative environment.

Preferred Experience:

• General labor or manufacturing experience.

• Willingness to learn machine operation.

• Experience with paint booths and hand tools.

• Comfortable working with hot steel.

Work Environment:

• Industrial setting with ear and eye protection required in production areas.

• Exposure to noise, heat, and cold.

• Steel-toe boots must be worn at all times.

• 2nd shift schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (specific department hours may vary).

• 3rd shift schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 pm - 6:00 am.

• Contract to Hire position based in Medina, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75/hr.
