Retirement Savings Plan Elwyn seeks a Group ABA Behavior Consultant to provide ongoing support, training, and consultation to ensure clients are receiving the best quality treatment. The Group ABA Behavior Consultant will contribute leadership and behavioral expertise to provide guidance to BHT's and support staff on best practices based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain at least weekly contact with care givers, Mobile Therapists (MT), Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and other team members in order to effectively monitor the implementation of the Resiliency plan Provide direct coaching and supervision to Behavioral Health Technicians on best practice procedures based upon the principles of behavior analysis, including but not limited to modeling interventions, meeting 1:1, and in session feedback. Complete timely documentation of supervision that meets regulatory requirements Continually assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify treatment goals as needed. Review and analyze data collected from therapy sessions to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as necessary. Plan, organize, and maintain the physical environment of program. Participate in weekly case management meetings to plan and coordinate new admissions. Become a safety care trainer and assist clinical supervisor in training BHT's on crisis prevention Work closely with clinical supervisor on staff training sessions, implementing best clinical practices, and monitoring of client progress Provide de-escalation and crisis management support if needed during program times. Ensure compliance with the Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) principles, practice guidelines for Recovery and Resiliency, and principles of cultural competency Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and crisis intervention using agency-trained protocols Perform other duties as assigned Assist in group in the absence of staff QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services. Expertise working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and other behavioral and communication disorders Experience with data collection and graphing Experience with administering the VBMAPP, ABAS, Preference Assessments preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, priorities Demonstrated strong attention to detail Demonstrated strong time management and organizational skills Demonstrated excellent judgment with the ability to independently solve problems and make d cisions with little or no need for direct supervision Demonstrated ability to anticipate future needed changes or identify problem areas and take effective actions Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills Must be able to perform CPR and restrictive procedures and manual restraints using agency-trained protocols Demonstrated basic experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Publisher experience preferred Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence, minimum (2) years of driving experience, and up to (3) years of driving experience (if available) in the United States with an acceptable driving record Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and some weekends Elwyn reserves the right to revise or change job duties and responsibilities as needed.
