A company in Medford, NY is looking for a new Human Resources Specialist to join their team! The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for managing Human Resources Programs, Benefits Administration, Payroll process and Continuous Improvement processes amongst other responsibilities. Responsibilities

Prepares and discusses with Human Resources Manager reports such as: Monthly and YTD hires,

promos, terms, overtime and others. Provides new and innovative ideas to improve process.

 Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.

 Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended

best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

 Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human

resources, talent management, and employment law.

 Provides support and guidance management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive

questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate

circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing,

and terminations.

 Responsible for processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll.

 Leads the administrative activities of the Company Training Program.
