The Team and Job Summary

We are seeking a Cash Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Finance team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Cash Accounting Analyst. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of finance, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.

The Cash Accounting Analyst will work in the Accounting department and be a part of the Treasury team primarily responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of the company general ledger as it relates to the cash transactions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare multiple bank account reconciliations monthly, comparing General Ledger to Bank Statements. Identify differences and match off items that reconcile.

  • Utilize our Treasury Automation Suite in D365 and work with finance team to support the reconciliation process as it relates to both bank account and cash clearing accounts.

  • Monthly reconciliation of various clearing accounts and researching unreconciled items and clear accordingly. Review each account for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.

  • Back up accounting team during Month end close and Year end Audits.

    Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years accounting experience with general ledger analysis.

  • Eye for detail and accuracy is imperative.

  • ERP/proprietary software experience is essential

  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and within a team environment

  • Must be able to research

  • Have strong Excel, MS Word and Outlook skill

  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal format

  • Well organized and detail oriented. Must be able to prioritize tasks.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
