Salary Grade: NC02 / Salary Range: $31,200.00.00 - $47,903.00 - All recommended salaries are based on each applicant’s qualifying education and related experience in combination with the position’s budgeted salary. The maximum hiring rate for this position is $41,264.
This administrative position performs various clerical duties for the District 2 office in Division Ten. Duties include typing, filing, copying, answering and directing telephone calls. This position process invoices, processes damage claims, enters payroll including work accomplished into SAP and MMS and schedules training for employees. Position will be responsible for entering TIMS entries into database advising of incidents. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Other general office responsibilities will be assigned as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

Experience in record keeping
Customer service experience, including resolving customer issues
Experience with Microsoft Office using programs such as Access, Word, and Excel
Experience with letter writing, using correct spelling, punctuation and proofreading
Experience interpreting and/or explaining policies, procedures, and laws
Additional Expectations:
Knowledge in state government related personnel policies, procedures and programs. Must have the ability to work closely with others and possess good communication skills, both orally and in writing. Must have computer experience including Word and Excel; experience with SAP/BEACON is preferred. Experience reading maps and using online mapping applications preferred. The selected applicant will be expected to legally operate a motor vehicle.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
