DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: What will you do? * Oversees the management of a team within the Distribution Center (DC), assuring all the Supply Chain & Logistics operations to ensure the fulfillment of the logistic offer; manage and optimize the administration of logistics management functions; and ensure the coordination for inventory control, warehousing, transportation & distribution. * Lead a high-performance culture in which team members are motivated, highly engaged and empowered with trust to achieve a safe work environment with best-in-class quality, cost control and efficiency. * Develop team leads into future leaders at Schneider and foster a positive, diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment. * Responsible for adjusting the Material Providing and Handling (MPH) programs according to customer priorities. * Ensure inventory accuracy and monitor and analyses logistic costs. * Facilitate problem-solving, root cause analysis and corrective action for quality, safety and production issues. * Responsible for people management including people resources, goal setting, performance management, time and attendance, competency development, recognition, engagement, well-being. * Manages logistics process for receiving goods, stocking, picking, and shipping finished goods and wastes. * Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the operation in line with Schneider Performance System standards. * Lead change through lean fundamentals with a focus on 5s and continuous improvement.
What qualifications will make you successful? * 4-year Degree or Equivalent years of exp * At least 2 years of relevant experience in Operations/ Distribution * Well versed in warehouse management systems * Strong organizational and analytical skills, results driven, ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization * Experienced in problem resolution and root cause analysis * Knowledge of or experience in a lean operations environment * Demonstrate ability to lead change * Have a strong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment * Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
