Description There's currently a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening for a talented and professional Software Developer in the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania area. This position requires the chosen candidate to be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. This position will be the best fit for a candidate with a growth mindset and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

How you will make an impact

• Give clear and consistent message around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams

• Adjust and present production support

• Routinely operate code-review and team up with other developers

• Collaborate with Scrum team to provide accurate work estimates

• Maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems Requirements - Less than one year of experience

  • This position will be the best fit for a candidate with familiarity with scrum

  • Familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database) are strongly preferred

  • If you have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc., you will be strongly preferred

  • This position will be the best fit for a candidate with experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc.

  • If you can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments, you will be strongly preferred

• Experience with API design

• JavaScript experience

• Deep understanding of C#

• Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Azure

• ASP.NET experience

• Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC Framework
