Robert Half HR Manager in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Description

We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager to assist a high-volume sales company in the central Pennsylvania region. As the HR Manager, you will oversee and supervise a small team HR Generalists. You will ensure effective operation of the HR Department, advising senior management on strategic planning and serving as a link between an organization's management and its employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department.

  • Direct supervision and development of a team of HR Generalists.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

  • Determine and implement appropriate employee training and development programs.

  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.

  • Analyze the effectiveness of HR operations and policies.

  • Prepare and present reports to the higher management.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources roles with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Extensive knowledge of HR functions and best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HRIS or other HR systems.

  • Excellent decision-making skills with a knack for identifying and resolving problems efficiently
