Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do
Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
- Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Word, Visio, and PowerPoint;
- Conducting unit testing of web services and web applications using IntelliJ IDEA, and Eclipse;
- Developing domain classes and database access methods using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring JPA;
- Creating web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript to provide service and data to users;
- Creating technical design and unit test case documents to track test cases and issues utilizing MS Word;
- Designing and developing applications using IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, and MS Visual Studio to meet functional needs for software applications; and
- Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development utilizing SonarLint.
