Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies including data cleansing and conversions, as well as interface design, development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from OnPremise to Cloud by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations, and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.
15% Travel required nationally. Telecommuting permitted. Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing IBM middleware tools App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) to perform data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development;
- Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations, and urgent issues using Jira and ServiceNow;
- Utilizing ACE Toolkit to design and develop data conversion strategies, as well as facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops;
- Creating technical and functional specifications including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code;
- Recommending, designing, and implementing Cloud Computing, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Managed Cloud, Server Virtualization, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions;
- Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using IBM ACE and IIB Toolkit;
- Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions through use of IBM ACE; and
- Performing root cause analysis and documenting results.
