POSITION SUMMARY

The Vista Support Manager’s primary responsibility is overseeing the support requests for our Vista Operating companies who have completed implementation (currently 18 companies with more in process of implementation). Looking for an accounting professional with strong organizational and leadership skills that can help us provide timely support and coordination of special projects. Role will be responsible for coordination of projects and priorities with our IT support team and the ERP implementation team.

The ECS Headquarters is located in McLean, VA. However, candidates in other locations and meeting the requirements will be considered as this position can be performed remotely by a successful candidate located near a major airport and able to travel up to Estimated at 1 Week per Month (20%)

Compensation Range: $120,000 - $150,000

Other Compensation: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus in accordance with Company policy

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Managing incoming Support cases that come in through the ECS Vista Support App –

  • Making sure new requests are properly prioritized and the right resources are assigned either within our internal team, with external consultants (for report writing or notifiers), or redirected to vendor software support..

  • Making sure status of Support case is properly updated in the Support Description to keep OpCo requestor updated on progress and next steps

  • Making sure that cases are followed up on and resolved as timely as possible

  • Following up with Team members periodically to review open projects, status & priorities

  • Managing On-going Vista Team Projects (as listed in the PDRC Planner) to follow up with team on status and priorities

  • Coordinating with IT to make sure that IT Package Open Project status is properly updated (750-ECSERP-OG / Files / General / IT Files / 1-ECS IT Package Open Project Status Report) and help make sure that communication to OpCos about Testing & roll-out of updates is properly done

  • Bi-Weekly Team Meeting – provide 15-minute summary of tips and suggestions from support cases that have been resolved in last 2 weeks – lessons learned

  • Keep 250-Viewpoint-OG site content updated and organized with current training materials and best practice recommendations

  • Plan and organize annual training courses for our Vista users

  • Help plan and organize the annual PowerUp conference

  • Provide summary information and optional training on changes in upgrades & new software features

QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 5 - 10 years working in an accounting department, preferably with other mechanical or electrical construction or union contractors.

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Working knowledge of the construction industry, operations management, and safety practices a plus

  • Working knowledge of Vista software

  • Time management skills – ability to meet frequent deadlines

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel).

  • Experience with Viewpoint Vista is required
