Manager - Project Manager, Fuse Program Management Office (PMO)

Capital One Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team is seeking a Manager, Project Management for Fuse, our internal Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform. With Fuse, we seek to make risk management easier, more intuitive, and more accessible to associates across the company who need to manage risk as they deliver valuable products and services to our customers.

Are you passionate about leading change and driving transformation? We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Project Manager to lead our Program Management Office (PMO) for Fuse. In this role, you will be the linchpin that connects our product teams, stakeholders, and end-users, ensuring seamless project execution and effective change management. You will maintain a bird's-eye view of the Program status, navigate complex challenges and play a pivotal role in transforming risk management.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Program Oversight : Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of Program status, key milestones, and risks. Provide clear visibility to senior leadership and stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision making

  • Strategic Partnership : Collaborate closely with product teams to align on roadmapping, resourcing and delivery timelines. Ensure project goals are in sync with broader Program level objectives

  • Change Management Leadership : Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of Fuse by our users. Develop Communication and training plans that drive engagement and minimize disruption

  • Transformation Catalyst: Be the driver of transformation, challenging status quo and identifying opportunities to enhance our delivery processes. Leverage industry best practices to implement innovative solutions that create value and mitigate risks

  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Facilitate discussions, manage expectations and ensure alignment across cross - functional teams

  • Continuous Improvement : Monitor and evaluate Program performance. Identify areas of improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 4 years of project management experience

  • At least 2 years of process management, risk management, audit or change management experience

  • At least 2 years of experience using project management tools (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID), Waterfall, Agile)

  • At least 2 years of experience using Google or Microsoft Office Suite

​Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Scrum Master certification, Lean Six Sigma certification or Internal Auditor certification

  • 1+ years of experience in the financial industry
