Hilton Director, Digital Transformation in McLean, Virginia

As a Director, Digital Transformation, you will support the team in partnering with all our brands and helping influence and guide programs with unique and distinctive products and services. On the HSM team reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Solutions to craft and implement strategies, communications, and change management initiatives to advance the digital transformation of supply management operations within HSM.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Support Senior Leadership and Finance team to develop multi-year digital roadmap securing proper IT budget and sanctioning for resourcing, project costs, and capitalization.
  • Ensure the Change Management process aligns with Hilton Corporate audit, compliance, and risk activities.
  • Set the requirements for effective and efficient workflow of the Change Management process lifecycle.
  • Maintain and enhance a robust governance framework for managing digital solution changes.
  • Review the change management and transformation processes to identify areas for optimization.
  • Persuade and synchronize senior stakeholders within HSM and throughout the corporate landscape to embrace digital solutions that enhance Supply Management B2B process efficiency.
  • Execute enablement activities with regional and global category management teams, utilizing state-of-the-art digital solutions to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers and business partners.
  • Actively and proactively engage with diverse business units to achieve a unified agreement on business objectives.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with project managers to identify change management requirements and execute process changes.
  • Work with Digital Solutions, Strategy and Business Operations, and Business Performance leadership to articulate vision and build value proposition for overarching digital transformation strategy.
  • Work with Data Lake team, Business Intelligence team, and Digital Experience team to define and refine the digital roadmap based on new business requirements and assess feasibility of emerging technologies to future-proof business requirements.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Oversee the Digital Solutions Change Management process, which includes change plans and communication plans, communicate changes, and develop training plans for new digital platforms and evolving systems.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7 ) years of relevant working experience in forming technology roadmap strategy, implementing digital transformation, and driving organizational changes.
  • Three (3 ) years of experience in supporting Data Lake, Business Intelligence, Master Data Management, or Content Management System projects in complex environments.
  • Two (2 ) years of experience independently driving projects and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of SQL Server, Salesforce, Cloud Computing Platforms and APIs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

It would be useful if you have:

  • Experience with strategy or management consulting
  • Change Management Certification
  • Project Management Certification
  • Hospitality Industry experience
  • Supply chain management knowledge
