About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst with SQL and Python skills to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide insights, and support data-driven decision-making processes. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business objectives and technical needs.
Analyze and interpret complex datasets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and reports to extract and manipulate data for analysis.
Utilize Python to automate data processing tasks, perform advanced analytics, and create data visualizations.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Work with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for reporting and analytics.
Participate in the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision-making.
Assist in creating project documentation, including business cases, process flows, and data models.
Provide insights and support for business initiatives, contributing to the improvement of processes and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and reporting.
Experience with Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred.
Nice-to-Have:
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience working with large datasets and databases.
Familiarity with business process modeling and workflow analysis.
