Description
Cirrus Design Corporation, manufacturer of FAA certified small aircraft, seeks applicants for Senior Wire Harness Engineer at its location in McKinney, TX. Responsibilities include the design and installation of electrical wire harnesses for FAA certified single engine aircraft; working closely with other engineering disciplines to understand and capture wiring requirements and ensure compatibility with all surrounding elements as well as production and product development groups within the organization to ensure wiring installations meet all safety, performance and regulatory requirement.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related, plus 2 years related experience with wire harness development/integration to include: aircraft, automotive or marine electrical wiring design. Exp. with manufacturing engineers through vehicle development cycle required. Design and validation of 3D models; creating schematics, adaptation of designs in response to product assembly issues required.
