Raytheon Technologies Senior Systems Engineer - IVV for MFRF Sensors in McKinney, Texas

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer in our Department 22 Engineering team!

Demonstration of successful operation of such system involve installation of products on the relevant platforms including flight testing to verify its expected performance. Our researchers often wear multiple hats from design, development and integration of the prototype products to direct customer interactions that may lead to new business opportunities.

Work Location:

McKinney, TX

Required Skills:

5+ years of relevant work experience

Familiar with verification and validation of a product at the system level and its flow down to subsystems level

Familiar with multi-functional RF system including sensors

Familiar with Hardware design, development and integration of the sensors and RF products

Knowledge of using tools and techniques such as M&S for MFRF product and sensor performance, and validation

Knowledge of developing derived requirements of a RF MF sensors and other hardware integration

Occasional travel to off-site locations (CONUS and OCONUS)

Skilled at anticipating problems, working with customer and the team to address any issues concerning derived requirements, changes and planning to mitigate them.

Experience working in cross discipline Integrated Product Line (IPTL) teams, and in classified environments

U.S. Citizenship is required as this position requires an active DoD Secret Security clearance on Day 1 of employment

Desired Skills

Familiar with the development of the RF multi-functional product including RF sensor and an in-depth knowledge of the hardware integration at the higher level

Knowledge of the sensor systems performance of a RF multifunctional system

Experience with the derived requirement verification of a RF multifunctional system

Experience with the verification and validation of the derived requirements of a multifunctional system and the integrated sensor system

Knowledge of the derived requirement verification of the sensor related to its performance.

Familiar with DOORS or Next Gen DOORS

Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, to include MS Visio and

Required Education:

5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a STEM related discipline; or 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a STEM related discipline

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
