Production Soldering / Assembly (3rd Shift / J-STD-001 Certification) Location: McKinney, TX (75071) Job ID: #69674 Pay Range: $18-23 3rd shift - Sunday - Friday, 10PM to 6:30AM with a 30 min unpaid lunch} Open to US Citizens Must have Certification: J-STD-001 Certification is required 4yrs of experience needed THE COMPANY: Work with the 5th largest Aerospace & Defense company in the world Summary: o The successful candidate will be part of a manufacturing assembly team that is involved with microelectronic components. o Duties can include manual assembly tasks, solder, operating semi and automated processing equipment, operating ovens, using a microscope to perform and inspect work o Sitting and standing for prolonged period, o Following detailed written work instructions from a computer, using our Factory Operating System (FOS), create nonconformance in FOS, o Performing rework. * * *Must have Certification: J-STD-001 Certification is required Required Skill Sets: * * Must have Certification: J-STD-001 Certification is required o Job duties require hand/finger dexterity and attention to detail. o The candidate must have basic computer and math skills. o Must have the ability to read and interpret written work instructions and engineering drawings. o Must be able to communicate effectively, multi-task, and be flexible with the work as needed. o Able to perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, proven process and to perform in-process inspection in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. o Microelectronic assembly and rework experience. Hand solder experience with microelectronics. o Solder experience to Military Standard and/or ANSI / J standards o Effective time management skills are a must. o 3rd shift - Sunday - Friday, 10PM to 6:30AM with a 30 min unpaid lunch} o U.S. Citizenship Desired Skill Sets: o Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Best Practices o Strong safety focus o Positive attitude and teaming skills needed. o Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement. * * *Must have Certification: J-STD-001 Certification is required Education Level Required: HS Diploma or GED or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience Years of Experience Required: minimum of (4) Four years of relevant experience Other Requirements: o Pass a background check & drug test o Work 3rd shift - Sun - Fri 10PM to 6:30AM w/ 30 min unpaid lunch} * * * Must have Certification: J-STD-001 Certification is required Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
