Our client, in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a QC Tech you will work closely with the production team, laboratory team and management. The ideal candidate will have Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication and have excellent attention to detail.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: McCook IL

Environment: This position is located outdoors.

Pay Range: $21-$26

What’s the Job?

• Conduct routine quality control inspections and tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to established protocols

• Perform analytical testing using various laboratory equipment and instrumentation, such as chromatographs, viscometers, and titrators

• Investigate and resolve quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints in a timely manner, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.

• Monitor and analyze process parameters to identify deviations and ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in internal and external audits, assisting with documentation, data analysis, and corrective action implementation.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in Chemical Manufacturing.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance

• Adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a culture of safety and compliance.
