We are looking for a Chemical Production Operator for a chemical manufacturing company located in the Summit, McCook, Bedford Park area, providing a diverse product line to a wide range of industries and having been in business for over 70 years. Our steady and long-term success has been founded on producing quality and hard-to-find products consistently. Ownership continues to significantly invest in equipment and staff. Our organization prides itself in having an excellent work and safety culture.
Current production staff works four 12-hour days per week with overtime potential. Company offers a very competitive salary, health insurance package, and 401k plan
We are looking for a Chemical Production Operator who possesses a solid understanding of chemical processes and chemical safety
Chemical Operator Responsibilities:
Add, mix, and monitor a variety of chemicals
Record information: ingredients, weights, temperatures, batch status, etc
Load/unload tank trucks and fill containers of all sizes
Work in a team environment in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Report accidents, safety violations, or other concerns
Chemical Operator Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Capable of working any shift
Experience working with forklifts
Basic computer and math skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
Capable of lifting 50lbs comfortably
Able to climb steps
Work outdoors and wear all required safety gear

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
