The Sales Support Manager will oversee the inside Sales team and ensure effective coordination of all internal processes related to the sales of product and is a key contributor to the sales process, coordinating the internal processes. This role will take a lead role in collaborating with operations, logistics, quality, aftermarket, finance, and GPSC to ensure on time delivery.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Sales Support:

  • Provide oversite to inside sales responsibilities and coordinate workloads of the team; streamline and adjust as opportunities arise and act as backup to ensure business continuity.

  • Review order book entries and adjust as needed to correct information or expectations. Communicate to sales support administrators to ensure communication to customers.

  • Generate, review, and analyze reports such as bookings, backlog, commissions and sales history.

  • Collaborate with and resolve issues with other functional departments related to sales of products (availability, invoicing, delivery, etc.).

  • Develop and mentor sales support team members on business/industry knowledge, best practices, and company standards.

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with other departments to streamline the sales process from order intake to delivery.

  • Provide overall support to the Sales team.

  • Support Sales Leadership staff and other general business requirements.

  • Communicate and provide report to segment, business unit, and cross functional leadership.

  • Administer Concur and US Bank processes.

  • Coordinate events, meetings, and travel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Four (4) or more years of relevant experience.

  • One (1) or more years of managerial experience.

  • Ability to travel occasionally as required.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Sales within a manufacturing industry.
