Job Description

Insight Global is in search of a Registered Nurse in the Tacoma, WA area to support a government client on a long term contract. The ideal candidate would be responsible for ensuring patient care aligns with the Standards of Nursing Care and adheres to clinic policies and procedures. In this role you will collect and synthesize comprehensive health data relevant to the patient or situation. Provide psychotherapeutic sessions to individuals, families, and groups, using non-violent intervention techniques. You will identify mental health and nursing diagnoses, plan patient education, and coordinate discharge planning. Set expected outcomes and patient goals, observe and document progress, and coordinate care delivery. Additionally, take precautionary measures to prevent patient injury, participate in supportive group sessions, teach psychotherapeutic educational strategies, and manage medication administration.

Skills and Requirements

• Completion of a professional nursing program

   - BLS Certification

   - Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN License - 1 year of work experience working in behavioral health null
