FirstChoice of Illinois is utilized to fill immediate, short-term respiratory therapy positions to support the needs of Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and MacNeal Hospital. This program allows us to have our own therapists fill gaps in staffing. FirstChoice RTs will not replace or take away hours from our internal Nursing Resource Pools. Adding an in-house team of regional respiratory therapy travelers who align with our Mission and Core Values, and who are highly knowledgeable about our care practices, processes and standards, further supports and upholds our commitment to exceptional care and a strong nursing team culture. FirstChoice is currently hiring experienced nurses in various specialties to help fill short term and long term assignments at Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and MacNeal Hospital.

We believe one of the best ways we can take care of our patients is to take care of our employees. That's why we created FirstChoice, Trinity Health's internal resource pool, designed for nurses who desire flexible scheduling, increased pay scales, as well as variety in practice settings and learning opportunities.
