We are seeking a Process Excellence Consultant II - Operational Excellence Team who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to those we serve at Loyola Medicine. In return, we provide a supportive atmosphere where you can grow your career and make a lasting impact.
Responsible for providing leadership to stabilizing, standardizing, simplifying and sustaining of Process Excellence across the Trinity Health system. Active in developing problem solvers to improve the patient care experience, regulatory goals, and all operational metrics such as: patient safety, quality, cycle time, rework, financial stewardship, and employee satisfaction. Provides expert guidance and support to the Regional Health Ministries (RHMs) by working with Process Excellence teams to identify opportunities for competency development and performance improvement. Manages, trains and mentors on process improvement methodologies with a heavy focus on Lean, Change Acceleration, Rapid Process Improvement and Six Sigma.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess thorough knowledge of operations, financial analysis, and organizational development as usually obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or Health Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree preferred. Particular emphasis will be placed on having five (5) to seven (7) years of previous experience in driving lean transformational efforts that have resulted in sustained, on-going process improvement and culture change. Clinical improvement-related work experience highly desirable.
Green Belt certified.
Advanced LEAN Trained.
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of health care operations, recognizing the uniqueness of the healthcare environment.
Must possess well-developed project management, process redesign, and analytical skills. Responsible leadership experience overseeing progressively complex projects and interfacing with executive leaders. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
A true believer in nurturing teamwork, developing others through mentoring and coaching. Responsible for project execution and must possess experience with hands-on facilitation. Demonstrated proficiency to identify and articulate process improvement opportunities and provide authoritative consultation. Prior experience and knowledge of healthcare information technology functionality is beneficial.
Must be able to operate effectively in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Proficient in the use of computer software programs including: Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Access and PowerPoint. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of Trinity Health.
