VACANCIES: At present one (1) vacancy exists in the Chautauqua County Department of Mental Hygiene and Social Services. DUTIES: A Senior Grant Coordinator is an administrative position involving responsibility for the oversight, guidance and coordination of department grants and other state and federal funding sources. An incumbent in this class will manage all aspects of grant and alternate funds related work within the assigned department. The incumbent in this position will work under the general direction of the department head with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment. Supervision may be exercised over support staff as assigned. Does related work as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and either: A. Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Masters degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting or a closely related field and two (2) years of grant administration experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; OR B. Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelors degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as described in (A) above; OR C. Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as described in (A) above.
