Job opportunity is a bona fide, F/T temp position for 8 Landscape Laborers from 3/1/25-12/31/25 w/Schutz's Landscape & Design, 5143 Holly St., Mays Landing, NJ 08330; (609) 965-4100.
Mow, cut, water, edge, trim lawns/ flower beds; rake/blow leaves; dig; plant; pull/chop weeds; prune; haul topsoil; mulch; install mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units; lay sod; clean up debris. Lift/carry up to 50 lbs. 40hpw; 7:30 AM - 4 PM Mon-Fri; work extnd daily hrs/wkends. Suprvsd work. 3 mths exp reqd/no educ. 14 days OJT. $19.33/hr; OT is not guaranteed but if worked rate is 1 1/2 time ($29)/hr over 40 hpw. Raise/bonus emplr's discretion. Higher pay opportunity based on exp/performance. At emplrs discretion, retn wrkrs may be pd previous end of season wage if higher than offered wage.
Single wrkwk used in computing wage due. Payday Wkly Fri. Shared housing avail to seasonal FT employees, not offered to non-employees. Employees may make own arrangements at their own expense. Emplyr provided housing rent (utilities included) charged $55/wk. Emplyr may deduct reasonable housing cost based on # of occupants for wkrs who voluntarily elect to live in emplyr-offered housing. All deductions reqd by law, rent (where applicable), cash advances/loan repayment, repayment of overpayment of wrkr wages, payment for articles which wrkr voluntarily purchased from emplyr, recovery of any loss to emplyr due to wrkr's damage (beyond normal wear/tear)/loss of equip/housing items where shown that wrkr is responsible, any other reasonable deductions expressly authorized by wrkr in writing.
No deduction not reqd by law will be made that brings wrkrs hrly earnings below FLSA Federal statutory min wage. Emplyr provides transp from central location to/from job sites. No itinerary involved-multiple Atlantic City locations. Return transp/daily subsist pd/provided if wrkr completes employment period/is dismissed early by emplyr. Outbound transp paid/provided at most economical/reasonable common carrier transp rates for distances involved, where applicable. Emplyr reimburses H-2B worker 1st wrkwk for visa, visa processing, border crossing & other related fees, including those mandated by government, incurred by H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses/other charges primarily for wkrs benefit). Emplyr provides at no charge all reqd tools, supplies/equip reqd to perform job.
Emplyr will reimburse eligible wkrs inbound travel costs not already pd in advance no later than 50% of work period (or w/1st paycheck if applicable under FLSA). Inbound travel includes transp costs from wrkrs permanent residence/recruitment place to place of employ, daily meals subsistence & reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Transp reimbursements based on wrkrs actual cost, not to exceed the most economical common commercial carrier transp costs for distances involved. Emplyr reserves right to assist in coordinating transp. Wrkrs who do not avail themselves of such avail transp will be reimbursed only per wrkr cost of arranged transp/most economical/reasonable common commercial carrier transp cost for distances involved, whichever is less. Wrkrs are free to make own inbound transp, assuming all liability & hold harmless emplyr any damages/injuries/personal/property losses.
Subsistence reimbursements based on rates specified in Federal Register Daily (currently $15.88 per day min/$59 per day max for wrkrs w/acceptable receipts).
