Job Description: Technical Team LeadDepartment: Technical OperationsJob Location: 6085 Parkland Blvd, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124Job Summary:Facilitates day-to-day operations of the Technical Support team. Works to evaluate team performance to ensure customers are receiving a high level of service as well as issue resolution. Promotes a productive and positive relationship with internal as well as external customers. Serves as an escalation point for resolving difficult technical and process issues. Coordinates research initiatives, advises on technical approach, and coaches on process related functions. Works alongside the team on researching highly complex issues to ensure forward progress toward resolution.Primary Responsibilities:Communicates with customers, and other departments to ensure quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.Assist with creation of training documentationFacilitates daily standup meeting to ensure team alignment on all initiatives.Identifies and implements process improvement opportunities. - Manager CollaborativeTracks and reports performance against objectives and goals (i.e. Deployment targets, customer satisfaction, etc.) - Manager CollaborativeServes as a liaison with QA, Development, Product Management, and Project Management teams.Participates / Leads conference calls with customers, vendors, and business partners.Serves as an escalation point for difficult issues\defects reported onProvides mentorship and training for team members and particularly new employeesCultivates employee skill sets and looks for coaching opportunities.Participates in after hours & weekend on-call rotationParticipates in new employee onboardingOther tasks as assigned.Required Skills:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technology related field3+ years working with PeopleNet System in a technical capacityDemonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectivelyPrevious technical and user documentation experienceExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsThrives in a fast paced environment, able to quickly reprioritizeAbility to deal with ambiguity and manage to an end resultSelf-motivated resource with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks that vary in severityAbility to work with minimal supervisionStrong facilitation and negotiation skills to balance the needs of competing stakeholdersFlexibility to work additional and irregular hoursPreferred Skills:Previous leadership experiencePrevious experience working with remote resourcesAbility to travel up to10% to support customers and teamsCompetencies:Drive for ResultsTechnical AptitudeCustomer FocusProcess ManagementManagerial CourageConflict ManagementDecision QualityInterpersonal SavvyAll candidates must show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
