Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently looking for an Experienced L ogistics Support Representative to support the USAF MH-139 Rotor-craft Program for Pre-Operational Support and Interim Contractor Support at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama .

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet our customers’ unique requirements.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

The selected candidate will provide direct support and services to our customer within a field environment. Such direct support is primarily provided at non-Boeing facilities, e.g., customer bases/sites, other contractor facilities, remote operating locations, or a combination of field locations. Specific contract requirements will govern the type, extent, and criteria for the support and/or services to be provided.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site Supply Chain Management/Logistics

  • Responsible for and maintain the site Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, Issuing, Storage, Control, Reconciliation, Technical Research, and Customer Support operations.

  • Ensures maintenance of a clean and neat warehouse at all times.

  • Reviews on-hand inventory and coordinates re-distribution utilizing CribMaster, GOLD (TAV, WOW, COPPR, etc.) and GOLDesp.

  • Participates in the plans for the removal of obsolete inventory.

  • Issue required components to the specified delivery point.

  • Receive retrograde of unserviceable, repairable components to include packing and shipment of retrograded items.

  • Performs records management.

  • Implement and maintain all logistics procedures in accordance with customer requirements.

  • Conducting all site inventory and management for assets (STE, Spares, Bench Stock, POL, HazMat, site needs, etc.).

  • Responsible for ensuring all site HazMat is properly authorized and tracked in the Boeing Enablon and USAF EESOH-MIS systems.

  • Ensure the proper chemical segregation, shelf-life monitoring and proper storage of all HazMat and temperature sensitive items at the site.

  • Manages site Satellite Accumulation Point (SAP), for expired or unserviceable HazMat.

  • Maintains site Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information, both paper and Enablon versions.

  • Ensures proper HazMat data entry in Enablon and EESOH-MIS and HazMat labeling with appropriate material control barcodes/labels.

  • Serve as the primary focal point with the Home Office Information Technology.

  • Researches, identifies, and resolves customer supply support system inventory discrepancies. Investigates total platform vehicle demand management, replenishment, and electronic data systems. Collaborates with company organizations to identify and resolve system issues.

  • Monitors logistics system performance. Collects supply data, evaluates supply system procedures, performs analysis, and documents trends.

  • Solicits customer feedback and take action to improve satisfaction with company services.

  • Manages field office resources and maintains company presence.

  • Prepares required company reports.

  • Assesses and verifies customer requirements and requests.

  • Coordinates with support organizations to resolve issues.

  • Works with administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards.

  • Analyzes, procures, and oversees procurement processes for maintenance tool services products and services and site needs.

  • Participates in the development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool services products.

  • Develops and conducts ad hoc training.

  • Provides guidance to less experienced logistics representatives.

  • Works under minimal supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Maxwell AFB, AL.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Supply Chain within an aviation environment

  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

  • Willing to support a 24/7 on-call environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with GOLD or GOLDesp is preferred.

  • Experience leading warehouse operations is preferred.

  • Previous experience with U.S. Air Force Supply logistics is preferred.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years of related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This position is for variable shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $74,800 - $101,200.
