Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities & Qualifications:
Demonstrate the application of basic Mechanical Engineering tools/ principles and evidence of creative thinking (Ex.: Free Body Diagram, Tolerance Stack-ups, Advanced Prints, BOMs).
Show tangible evidence of critical problem solving tools.
Demonstrates application of basic project management tools/principles (Ex.: Action Items, Project Plan, Team Meetings).
Perform typically as an individual contributor within or in support of a team. - Plans, organizes, and leads small project teams.
Confer with manufacturing, marketing, sales and suppliers to develop designs and resolve design issues.
Prepare product and system layout, detailed drawings and schematics by using computer assisted Engineering, design software, and equipment.
Coordinate manufacturing or building of prototype products or systems.
Plan and develops experimental test programs, analyzes test data, and reports to determine if a design meets functional and performance specifications.
Support the Division on the technical side and cost outside.
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of one year of collegiate courses completed or equivalent by the start of the internship
Geographical flexibility to relocate within the United States for the duration of the Co-op Program
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
Demonstrates a strong desire and ambition to be a leader
