Job Purpose You will be writing systems requirement in respect to the client needs and developing the electric vehicle architecture. Your task is to understand and interact with the client\'s engineering team to deliver a BEV that exceeds expectations in regards to BMS, powertrain, DC/DC, OBC, HVAC, cooling, brakes and power steering. Your workplace will be very dynamic, fast-paced and will include many different tasks, from the development of systems architecture to the creating from scratch of simulation models, right through commissioning prototypes trucks. You can expect to learn everything about the control strategies of electric vehicles and experience first-hand the integration and start-up of the systems. Primary Duties & Responsibilities BEV Architecture development System level control strategy System modeling in Matlab and Simulink Create system level requirements and documentation Testing and debugging system behavior collaborating with Control Engineers Understand the needs of the customers and create fast feedback loops to confirm the understanding Work on special projects as assigned Education and Qualifications Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, Control Systems or related field required Minimum 3 years of experience Experience in the automotive industry preferred; focus on systems engineering Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with all functions and levels across the organization Multicore software development or system design experience in automotive (preferred) System related training or certifications (preferred) Continuously adapt and prioritize constantly changing environment and business requirement Skills & Competencies Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges Ability to program data acquisition systems and perform calculation on databases Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner Ability to multi-task effectively on projects and assignments Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required in English. French knowledge is a plus.
