Job Purpose Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill a 2024 Fall Mechatronics Lab engineering co-op position at their World Headquarters in Maumee, OH. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks/assignments. Mechatronic Engineers are responsible for design and testing of a variety of mechatronic driveline component parts. Many of these are new product designs which are a part of electric axle assemblies. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Perform development testing, evaluate data, and write test reports. * Collaborate in development of test requirements, procedures, and equipment. * Build, test, and troubleshoot automotive electronic components. * Modify, develop, and deploy control solutions with LabVIEW, AutoCAD Electrical and DAQ systems. * Assemble wire harnesses, circuit boards, control boxes, test fixtures, and other custom modules. Requirements Enrollment & active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering Proven work experience, strong analytical ability, & excellent mechanical aptitude. Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills. Experience with Manufacturing or Assembly a plus. Willing to do multiple assignments & rotate through other engineering departments. Full-time availability. Good oral & written communication skills. Must be able to interface in a team environment.
