Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant. The role primarily involves providing administrative support to the Human Resources and Operations Manager and assisting with various HR tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication with employees and provide timely resolution to their queries.

• Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and benefits.

• Assist with the recruitment process through communication with recruiters, coordinating interviews, and screening resumes.

• Prepare paperwork and schedules to ensure a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with various departments.

• Generate official internal documents like offer letters, confirmation letters, and salary slips.

• Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents.

• Conduct background checks for new employees.

• Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational charts.

• Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and travel arrangements.

• Manage and coordinate schedules for the HR department.

• Place orders for office supplies and lunches for staff meetings and events.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Experience in handling inbound and outbound calls

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy

• Familiarity with email correspondence and etiquette

• Proven ability to schedule appointments effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Experience in a retail or food store environment would be advantageous

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
