Position Summary:

The Advisor – Computational Science, Genetic Medicine is responsible collaborating with our drug delivery teams and therapeutic area experts to help develop next-generation RNA therapeutics. They will be a key contributor to driving discovery programs forward through data-driven approaches.

What You’ll Do:

  • Apply computational tools to analyze complex data, particularly in the context of drug discovery or biological sciences.

  • Sample management includes receive and QC shipping manifests prior to sample release to lab staff.

  • Tracking, receiving, registering, organizing, store, label and routing of samples and reagents.

  • Build and improve computational infrastructure for data analysis, visualization, and interpretation of experimental data.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.

  • Collaborate with drug delivery teams and therapeutic area experts to help develop next-generation RNA therapeutics.

  • Maintain confidential information and ensure clients are informed of changes or revisions.

  • Maintain multiple needed communications with internal and external partners

  • Apply computational and informatics tools to support computer-aided design in discovery programs.

  • Establish best practices for analyzing high-dimensional data from formulation, in vitro, and in vivo studies.

  • Train and educate the scientific community on data analysis and visualization techniques.

  • Lead and coordinate internal and external research collaborations to drive innovation and methodology development

  • Generate and maintain several data reports ensuring all information is accurate and up to date at all times.

  • Responsible for transferring data from external and internal vendor portals to multiple locations.

  • Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and Company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.

  • Comply with clients’ and Company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.

  • Perform other essential tasks, projects and responsibilities as required.

  • Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload

What You'll Need:

  • Highly motivated with a strong background in computational methods and an interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary research environment.

  • Must be highly organized, able to manage multiple work and communications lines between multiple external vendors (CRO’s) and our internal clients.

  • Must be self-regulated and have high attention to detail for quality and strong organization skills.

  • Possess an understanding of regulatory compliance.

Education & Experience:

  • Degree requirement: PhD inComputational Biology, Bioengineering, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Cheminformatics, or a related discipline with a multidisciplinary focus on computational science.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience withStrong domain knowledge in data science and informatics with a focus on experimental data interpretation specimen management.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in highly detail-oriented environment

  • A track record of research combining computational methods with experimental work, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear, understandable manner.

Schedule: M-F (first shift), forty-hours per week. However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
