Senior Manager Controllership
As the Senior Manager of Controllership at Honeywell, you will hold a critical leadership position within our finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead the controllership function for the Honeywell Intelligrated business, a segment of Industrial Automation. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and driving the financial close processes. Your expertise in overtime accounting, Estimate at Completion, and supply chain finance will be instrumental in providing valuable recommendations and guidance to senior management for strategic decision-making. You will report directly to our Mason, OH location and you will work a hybrid (3+) work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, implementing accounting policies and procedures, and driving process improvements in financial operations. Your strong leadership skills will be crucial in managing and developing a team of controllership professionals, providing mentorship and support for their professional growth. As the Senior Manager, Controllership, you will serve as a key point of contact for Honeywell Intelligrated finance matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and lead the controllership function for Honeywell Intelligrated
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulations
Oversee the Estimate at Completion process
Drive the financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including local finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
Serve as a key point of contact for local finance matters with senior management and other stakeholders

YOU MUST HAVE
CPA or equivalent certification
Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations
Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools preferably Oracle and Hyperion
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices
