POSITION SUMMARY: This position will have responsibilities in key areas such as published clinical science literature reviews, synthesis and summarization of clinical data endpoints, medical writing and copyediting, and scientific content creation and review. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, and careful attention to accuracy and details. We're seeking someone who is self-motivated, proactive, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and intellectually curious, with a desire to learn. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Perform clinical science literature reviews using search engines such as Google Scholar, PubMed, and Embase Collect, summarize, and communicate published clinical data endpoints such as safety and effectiveness with accuracy Assist with medical writing and copyediting of manuscripts and congress abstracts under the direction of senior team members Assist with scientific content creation and editing such as posters and slide decks under the direction of senior team members Verbal and written follow-up with external and internal stakeholders on project deliverables ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Regular and predictable work performance Ability to make decisions and use good judgment Ability to prioritize various duties and multitask as required Ability to successfully work with others Additional duties as assigned BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Pursuing or admitted to a bachelor's degree in biology, biomedical engineering, other life science, or closely related discipline or equivalent industry experience. Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 applications (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint) Ability and accountability to attend virtual meetings through Microsoft Teams or similar platforms Experience with using clinical science article search engines such as Pubmed to review literature Ability to effectively present and discuss findings in tabular or slide format to team members Strong scientific writing and editing skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Pursuing BA/BS in biology, biomedical engineering, other life science, or related discipline OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed Ability to occasionally bend and push
