The Trace Impurities Innovation (TII) Section is seeking a highly motivated/dynamic individual to work in an exciting interdisciplinary organization encompassing trace analysis platforms, biology, biochemistry, and digital activation to produce chemical transparency knowledge about our raw materials, intermediates and finished products that drive innovation as well as tackle tough problems across multiple brand categories. This employee should have trace elemental analysis experience and great collaboration skills to contribute to quality, compliance, and perceived safety for all P&G Brands. The TII laboratories have the most advanced trace elemental analysis instrumentation in the Company and are often the final resource for measurements not achievable by other labs. As a result, TII provides critical measurements for human & environmental safety as well as creates s-curve driving measurement platforms, enabling (e.g.) “progressive chemical transparency” of our products.

Job Qualifications

Skills that will be assets for this role:

  • Analytical Chemistry

  • Biochemistry/biology

  • Inductively coupled plasma -mass spectrometry

  • Inductively coupled plasma –atomic emission spectroscopy

  • Data activation

  • P&G systems of record (e.g., Nexus & Enovia)

  • Quality systems (e.g., good manufacturing practices (GMP))

  • Effective partnership & collaboration

  • Independent/agile learning

  • Flame & graphite furnace atomic absorption

  • Wavelength dispersive x-ray fluorescence

  • Advanced sample preparation (e.g., microwave digestion system)
