Job Requisition #: 030318 Semi-Trailer Truck Mechanic (Open) Job Description: Performs preventive maintenance on trailer equipment. Performs troubleshooting and root cause analysis of repair issues. Service and repair trailers. Utilizes manuals, work orders, hand and power tools, and measuring tools to complete tasks. Assembles, disassembles, repairs, replaces parts as needed. Electrical repairs and general maintenance. Welding and fabrication. Service and repair ABS systems. Ability to diagnose using computer diagnostic equipment. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs. Reports all maintenance issues and malfunctions. Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns. Follows safety regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
