What you'll do: Provide equipment and facility maintenance services by utilizing manual and power tools, measuring instruments, gauges, technical materials and manuals with assistance if necessary Identify landscaping, lawn and tree deficiencies or enhancements and recommend solutions Responsible for lawn care including, but not limited to push moving, rider moving and weed whipping. Contribute in snow removal efforts Read and interpret manuals, blue prints, and other written materials needed to complete projects and tasks with assistance if necessary Maintain, install and repair commercial door hardware, basic flooring, and acoustical ceiling with assistance if necessary while utilizing mechanical aptitude Understand and comply with all OSHA and facility safety procedures including, but not limited to lock-out/tag-out Maintain accurate records of assignments, equipment maintenance, parts inventory, and plant maintenance logs through the use of a tablet Organize and prioritize their workload Complete tasks with care and attention to detail Identify maintenance issues and report them to the supervisor Provide efficient and timely equipment service to allow the continuance of daily business operations Control and plan maintenance activities Hang pictures, corkboards, white boards, etc. level Complete paint jobs including the estimation of supplies and performing the painting
What you'll need: High school diploma or equivalent Three (3) years of building and grounds maintenance experience Ability to be on-call and to work a varied schedule Ability to read and understand blue prints Strong communication skills in order to clearly explain options and solutions Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
