to join our Construction team. We are looking for a leader to bring
a fresh approach through innovative ideas, best practices and the ability
to positively influence our Construction Department.
The Civil Construction Foreman will be responsible for leading a civil
crew. This is a new team and this position will be instrumental in
building and developing a collaborative group of construction
professionals to expand our growing Network.

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8AM to 4:30 PM
Travel: 75%
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Build a culture of safety & consistently drive awareness while working as a foreman on an underground & civil construction crew
Primary driver & equipment operator of crew, as well as hands-on support of other postions on crew as needed
Ability to read & comprehend professional prints, CAD drawings &/or Visio
Responsible for all aspects of utility locates according to municipal standards
Familiarity with public & private easements
Central point of contact on jobsites
Understand Statement Of Work & disseminate to crew as needed
Familiarity with public & private easements & their requirements
Manage job site from start to finish while ensuring safety & efficiency
Work with local inspectors & quickly make field adjustments as needed
Ensure all work is completed to company standards with proper restoration to all excavation areas
Keep vehicles, equipment, & tools inventoried, maintained & in good working order
Understand Safety requirements & proper traffic control procedures
Exercise initiative & keep a positive attitude to work through jobsite obstacles
Oversee the quality of sites & share feedback with the team to help improve processes
Provide updates to management on project progress
Work in a team environment focusing on safety and quality
Keep crew prepared with equipment & tools to complete the job as needed
Other duties as directed
Requirements for Position
2+ years demonstrated experience in Telecom OSP construction &/or related industry
2+ years demonstrated equipment operator experience (Mini excavator, Skid steer)
Willingness to perform physical labor (hand digging with shovels, picks, & rock bars etc)
Adaptable to fast-paced, high-change environment
Must be able to travel away from home for up to 1 week at a time
Current valid Driver\'s License - CDL preferred
Ability to operate truck with trailer
Ability to be added to Company auto-insurance policy
Regular & predictable attendance required

Work is performed primarily outdoors in the field, in all weather conditions
Must pass a background check, MVR & drug screen
