Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform Administrative/Managerial Acquisition Specialist/ Contract Planning
The candidate shall provide contracting expertise to PEO IEW&S PMs and PdMs in areas such as Acquisition Requirement Packages, PALT metrics, 1-N database, and contract strategies
The minimum qualifications 10 Years of experience
DAU Contracting Level II Certified or industry equivalent acquisition processes, procedures and functions
Support program managers through analytical support, acquisition knowledge for unclassified programs including assisting with the creation, revisions, and routing of contract documents:
Assist PEO Contract Planning Division with document review
Work in a cross–functional team that delivers high–quality outputs on time
Collect, complete, organize, and interpret program data or documentation
Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems
Prepare briefings/presentations for Army leadership (up to 4‐star level)
Prepare summaries from meetings for PEO‐wide distribution
Maintain responsibility for supporting a wide range of administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, gathering responses from information requests, quality control/configuration control of documents, formatting, and ensure all aspects follow agency guidelines
Must be an expert in Microsoft Office programs
Provide ability to create professional slides from scratch, understanding the basic design elements of composition, color, and balance
Provide contracting expertise on various acquisition requirement documents, such as reviews of PWS, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, Service Contract Approvals (SCA), Acquisition Plans, and Contract Strategies.
Support in preparing contract metrics derived from the PEO contract planning list. Support the establishment of contract milestones in coordination with the requiring activity and the Army Contracting Command (ACC).
Support document writing during the Integrated Product Team process. Attend milestone and programmatic reviews.
Support planning of contract actions to include providing the PMs with realistic IMS schedules and Procurement Acquisition Lead Times (PALT).
Act as a liaison between the PMs and ACC. Coordinate and assist in contract training and in-house seminars to various program managers.
Provide risk analysis on contracting milestones. Provide subject matter expertise in impacts of new contracting regulations/guidance
Working knowledge of DoD 5002, Fars and DFARs
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Business
DAU Contracting Level II Certified or industry equivalent
