Andrew Kniepmann at Robert Half is recruiting for an Engineering/Quality Manager for a manufacturing organization in Maryland Heights, MO. The Engineering Manager oversees technical aspects of product sales, production, and support, including Quality Management System oversight. They manage a team of engineers contributing expertise from concept to design of IIOT connected machines, staying updated on industrial technologies and recommending innovative solutions. Quality results are pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards. The role involves managing the engineering team, maintaining project databases, providing technical support to sales and customers, and contributing to engineering projects directly. Additionally, the manager collaborates with various departments, maintains vendor relationships, and drives ongoing innovation in hydraulic and mechanical systems. Requirements

• Applicant must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.

• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other 3D Modeling software is essential.

• Experience in preparing and interpreting Structural Drawings is important.

• Strong Team Management skills are vital for coordinating and overseeing team operations.

• Experience in Quality Management (QM) is necessary to ensure standards and procedures are met.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective team collaboration.

• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.

• High level of professionalism and a strong willingness to learn new skills.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Must be open to flexible working hours based on project requirements.
