Seasonal/Temporary work 2/10/2025 - 12/5/2025

Walk fields to pull weeds; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment including putting in rice gates; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine, sprayer, mower, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest grain and oilseed crops; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer to be delivered to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping including raking leaves; Maintain inventory; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Build agricultural structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools; Weigh containers and record weights and identifying information; Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, discard rotten items; Position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers.
