Interested in growing with a thriving Construction/Contractor company as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional? If you're looking for work, this dynamic organization is filling an Accounts Receivable position with a noteworthy benefits package through Robert Half. This permanent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk is in the Martinez, California area. In this role, it will be critical for you to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. Responsibilities:

· Manage Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing

· Utilize Sage 300 CRE software for effective financial transactions and reporting

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and present comprehensive AR and Construction reports’

· Handle an average of 40-60 invoices per process

· Ensure compliance with construction lien laws and execute Mechanic’s Lien filings as required

· Handle collections activities, maintaining a proactive approach to resolving outstanding accounts

· Provide support for audits and financial assessments related to Accounts Receivable

Requirements

Requirements:

· 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

· Proven experience in Receivables and collections within the Construction industry

· Proficiency in Sage 300 CRE software (Timberline) and Microsoft Excel

· Familiarity with Office Connector is a strong plus

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Strong understanding of construction lien laws and Mechanic’s Lien filings

· Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

· Dependable and proactive work ethic
